  • Need cheering up

Just need to have a little weep as our silly, funny, lovely 13 month old kitten Porcie was killed by a car last night. He is the only one of three born to a feral on our terrace who decided to stick around.
We have buried him between two plum trees.
I am trying to fix the image of his face playing under the duvet last night, but at the moment can only see the roadside mess. At least it was probably quick. And we don't have to worry about him dying slowly somewhere.

    Anyone have any good jokes?

    Nope, my jokes are rubbish.

But my ((((hugs)))) are pretty good so sending them your way.

It's carp when you lose a pet, absolutely awful. You'll be glad you had those 'bed mice' moments.

No jokes, but rest assured you gave a great home to an otherwise feral cat and her kittens. Porcie knew joy, care and love in thirteen months it might never have had otherwise.
Cry it out and hug the others xxx

So sorry to hear your news. We lost a cat in January so I know how you are feeling. She was an old lady so not unexpected, but a youngster seems so unfair.

Oh dear - that's exactly what happened to my cat within a month of moving here.

The lovely thing is that you gave him a wonderful home during his time with you...hold onto that thought gal xx
