Only get that when a patient buys is. I think it is made by Nestle and I don't buy that on principle. So no smarties for Miss EB either even though they no longer have artificial colours in them still made by that company.

I know it's fun to joke about it, but really, even if you do eat meat, do you REALLY want the linining of baby cows' stomachs in your chocolate?!
Especially given that there's a vegetarian alternative, which they've been happily using for years... but oh they need more profit don't they?

These chocolates are no longer Halal, so the middle east market is down the pan. They love their rubbish chocolates too.
I used to eat lots of this type of stuff, but one day about 5 years ago, I just bought a bar or real chocolate (70% cocoa) and I was converted. I have never eaten so much as a twix since then. It really is disgusting.
Most rennet is produced by bacteria these days anyway. I really don't know what they are thinking of putting animal rennet in the chocolate.

I prefer Green & Black's these days but I'm sure I eat "cheaper" chocolate occasionally.
All I can say is that, if their business is doing so well that they can afford to lose loads of customers, then good luck to 'em. I'm not going to make a big fuss about it but I'm simply going to vote with my purse.
