I once had to teach a blind person computing (Using a programme called Dolphin 123) and they had a guide dog, a big, black, soppy Labrador. This woamn had to keep everything in carrier bags, so that if the dog tried to get anything to chew, the bag rustled. Well, one day another student had a stuffed toy in their handbag, which the dog, silently, got hold of. I was totally fascinated by the way she slowly, and very quietly pulled the toy to pieces, all the while having crafty glances at her owner to make sure she wasn't being 'spotted'! The floor was smothered in little balls of white fluff, I was in tears of laughter, and my manager was furious with me for stopping it.
