The builder changed it today to "he'd be worried if I was a relative....." So nice to know he cares

      Have you considered moving house?

Can you cut holes in it without it unravelling? I've never used it so don't know what its like

Have a look on-line, VC. There are hundreds of different designs. Some are close-weave at the bottom (ideal for your privacy), but with differing patterns and gaps at the top, allowing light and a view. As you're obviously loaded, you could afford to have some made...

Rather than buy, I'm more likely to coppice some hazel and weave my own fence. Can you imagine what it would like
              Could be today's challenge

Make two "picture frames",put one on the back & one on the front then screw them together, with the wicker trapped like that it cannot unravel

Its a brilliant idea BB but I'm a DIY incompetent, as you must know by now I'm not sure how imaginative these builder chaps are either - the thought of using a pallet crate for planting seemed a step too far!
Hope they take the wall down today - I just want it gone now

Woven willow panels is a troublesome mix of words, cos my little brain keeps making pillows come to mind....

It would appear we have a competition to determine who can understand what VC says......I'm abstaining.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

                          On form today hazel.

Do you need to borrow a sledgehammer VC?

..........a sledgehammer to crack a nut
                            Here's another ridiculous notion.........prepare yourself
The uprights of the block wall are these hollow cement cubes and weigh a ton - should I salvage them? Could be used to weighdown polytunnel - or as bases for uprights - or mini-planters........etc. I've convinced myself - I want them

I would keep the capping stones as well VC,they may come in for edging a flower/veg bed
