If it is a rhubarb and pear pi, does that mean you have to eat 3.14 portions?

Looks great. Can I have the recipe please? Rhubarb and pears are two of my 3 favourite fruits...

Make pastry. Line pi dish. That's the hard bit. Then I put two conference pears in, cut into bite-sized chunks. Sprinkled a little cinnamon over the pear. Then I put rhubarb chunks in, and a generous handful of crystallized ginger. Just a bit of brown sugar over the top so it wasn't too sharp. Put the pi lid on and bake. Serve with cream. Definitely not ice cream.

Do you roll your pastry onto the rolling pin and unroll over the dish?? Not to difficult!

          I like mine with both!!

Yes, but it's the actual pastry making I struggle a bit with. It's quite prone to falling apart, and you need a light touch. I've got a touch like a clumsy rhinoceros.

I didn't this time - think I'm getting the hang of it! Normally it ends up like Play-Doh.

I think I could make a fortune making planters. How does £100 sound? £30 cheaper than the garden centre and better looking!
