Good luck with getting Chris out foraging. Anyone who wants bay leaves up here, there's a ten foot bush full of them.

I think we need to get Darcy to join us on this hunt VC, it would appear that the pair of them go around with blinkers on.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

am a firm believer in foraging and also love the idea of these peeps.

wouldn't it be great if we all could scatter some spare and unwanted seed in hedgerow or forgotten corners so future foragers could love it to.
imagine your grand kids foraging something you had sown 15+ years before.

Yeah right! I think he is VC's altar ego. I never see him in Derby, despite always promising to forage with me and Zaz

Nah, Chris is my altar god. He sits in a little shrine on the other side of the mountain and we all worship him

So VC are you free Tuesday afternoon?, I thought we'd go a foraging in Chris's vicinity seeing as he is not very good at looking there himself. I can't guarantee we'll find him anything but I have a few spots picked out that I think will be worth a sprot.

I might even bring a few Welshcakes with me!

I have a gap in my busy social calendar on Tuesday afternoon. Just name the time and the place .....
Just been to Abergavenny - the hedgerows are full of elder and hawthorn. I've also bought some Elderflower cordial from the Farmer's Market. Wanted to see what it should taste like before making some

When are you free darcy? I know your busy Monday morning (in my garden digging up fruit bushes)!
A thought - you could all come here Monday and we could go round the woods across the road! I'm sure we can find elder if that's what we're looking for this week
