For all those struggling to follow this jumping thread, we are trying to assist Chris in learning that there is more to the beautiful countryside of South Wales than can be seen from behind the wheel on the M4 and A470. So if you know of some good walks on the outskirts of Cardiff, add them here and we'll set up a new ramblers society.

Chris needs to learn to walk before he can jump
I know lots of walks and we could make them foraging walks, near a good hostelry
