I've got some brewing on the plot and its stinks. I knew it would smell but didn't realise it would be that bad.

Good for the veggies because it's full of nutrients Stella. Just like the liquid fertilisers you pay a small fortune for in the shops

I am goint to start some off tonight once oitc is home - I need a hand reaching them! Luckily I have half a dozen food grade buckets with lids so it may keep the stink down.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

I've left a gap - I remember reading about the perils of exploding stinking liquid feeds

Its a week since I started some comfrey and some nettle feed and I've just opened the bottles. Comfrey is by far the worst - absolutely foul. I've watered one GH with diluted comfrey and the other with nettle, closed the doors and run for cover. Tomorrow morning, I'll see which GH smells the worst

..........Neither of them smell of anything horrid
I've topped up the containers with more water and it can sit around for another week until I do it again.

I've found that once you've watered the plants with the stuff, the smell disappears after a couple of hours.
