Mr Pots hates the smell of both nettle and comfrey teas so I only use them late at night when our neighbours are in doors not sure why but it doesn't bother me at all.

Remember when your Mum said "I know it tastes horrible but it will do you good"? Same principle applies

Since I've never made nettle or comfrey fertiliser - do they both smell the same - or are the pongs different?

I've just bottled some nettles and comfrey to do a pong comparison - the things I do just to satisfy my curiosity
How long do they take before they're potent?

Thanks Bren! I've stuffed the leaves into 2 litre milk containers and topped it up with water. I'm going to leave them at the far end of the garden, just in case they explode Should keep the foxes away
