I was at dentist this morning, can't believe how expensive the tiniest bit of treatment is, £50.00 thus morning, mind you wud have paid that to get out! She suggested Hygienist to me, I declined, can't stand it, glad I did now. Hope your session is ok.
Change dentists Dotty, my check up was £18 and my husband paid £49 for three fillings, the torture of the hygienist is another matter, I suspect she will only see me once" I will be telling my children to start training to be a dental hygienist as £88 per hour would make them a millionaire lol
For Today's Challenge see how many defunct primary school lunchboxes you can find in your under-the-stairs spider-filled cupboard. Extra points will be awarded for every bump you manage to inflict on yourself in the process.
Points will be deducted for each lunchbox not collected and thrown out - your youngest child is now almost 17 and wouldn't be seen dead with any of them......
Lunchboxes collected 7
Extra bumps.............3
Lunchboxes not binned 7
Have just been and 'swept' the road outside, why don't people clear up the glass they have deposited in middle of road, probably from windscreen, and I know it's 'rounded' but even so, cud get in 'doggy ' paws, lazy people!
Carpet fitters that Ive been waiting weeks for, that decide they'd now rather come tomorrow, instead of Thursday - when you have lots of stuff to do away from home tomorrow
Traffic. Sorry if this offends anyone but in term time it takes 50 mins to get to work, in holiday time 15 mins. WALK! Like I did , it won't do you any harm.
By coincidence....half an hour ago we'd just been to get milk etc. One of the P7's is lying on the kerb surrounded by more P7's from the BH's school. He was hit by a car on a zebra crossing.
A paramedic arrived just as we did, and there was a member of the public doing a brilliant job in first aid. As we couldn't do anything, except inform the school, we had to leave them to it. Returning from the shop, the poor boy is still there but sitting up and the ambulance had just arrived. I think it must be quite serious as the impact damage to the car was significant.
I don't have all the facts, not sure if he just ran out or what, but I do hope he's ok.
