  • OMG, I hate our new neighbours, haven't even seen them yet, but they always start banging about at this time of night, and think there might be 2 kids who just run up and downstairs, starting now! 11.00

    • Red Mite - at this time of year. Thankfully it's due to be ruddy cold tonight.

      • What an absolute waste of space that man is. Three hours trying to bodge two toilet cisterns, and the only result is a badly cracked toilet. What a twonk.

The cold probably won't kill them, G4. We kept our little original henhouse as a hospital house. It was never used, was well away from the main chook house and, when we dismantled it after two years there were still mites alive in there. The s0dding things live on fresh air, I'm sure of it. I hated using the Ficam but, by gawd, did it work! Not a mite since....

        • Tried to get a mobile phone on ebay - several times. Gave up today, thought I'd buy one online pay just a bit more...and no they won't accept a P.O. Box address. Idiots - couriers don't deliver out here - how many times do I have to go through this with stupid companies!

          • I've had conversations with several people this morning, and this is really winding me up:

Why is it that some folk who have nothing, and work ruddy hard to get by, will do anything to help others, without question? Whereas, those with lots (and some of it for nowt, too), just moan about how terrible everything and how selfish everybody is, nowadays. Selfish s@ds that can't even see past their own noses.

            Gah!

                • Lost my veg seed tin with everything in it. Had the house upside down twice looking for it and the Lottie and the greenhouse, plus I haven't got a record of what was in the said tin. Arhhhhhhhhh

                  • Wilkinsons..

Travelled to the Clacton-on-sea branch today, it's smaller than the one in Colchester but was still hopeful..

They literally had one pack on Sturon onion sets, and a couple of varieties of potato.
Should have gone to the colchester store..but by the time you've paid to park, may as well get them delivered.
Never mind - ended up with 2.5kg of Desiree and 2.5kg Arran pilot.

And the kids had a splash in the sea (wellies on!)

                      • No, I do not, I cannot, see why the DD should invite Cousin X to her wedding. He is my cousin, I haven't seen him in forty years, so why would he have any interest in my daughter's wedding, why should he be expecting a wedding invite from someone he doesn't know exists?? When was the last time you spoke to him? Do you even know where he lives? I thought not.
