Oh Jules, you're so, so, so...........there's no word to describe it in my vocab! I'm still not over it, even if you are :?

Hugs to Jules and very reasonable board and lodging if you fancy a few days in the Pyrenees. Although you'll have to live off frozen leeks like us

My Rant - had to go out to cut the grass for a couple of customers yesterday. Mr PP announces that he's remembered the keys we need. We get there and he asks where's the key? So what he actually meant was that having found the (not lost) key, he then put it down for me near my gear. I wasn't looking for it so didn't see it (black key fob on black cloth). Why not just put it in your own tank bag as you already had it in you hand?

Jules, I can only offer sympathy but just wonder if your house insurance would cover the euro loss??? if you can prove you had such a sum in the house it might be worth a call maybe??

eek Mr Alldigging wouldn't be going on holiday if he did that.

Rant: it's raining. Completely insignificant but I wanted to do stuff outdoors this afternoon. Net still not on strawberrys. Roll on when I have a shed on my plot to fill with all my stuff.

No, I'm not, not really. But how long can you stay angry with someone who needs your help to put his socks on etc?

I did try, but I have no proof I actually had the money in the house. Which is different from proving you had the money......

I didn't win the euro millions on Friday, I didn't win the national lottery on Saturday. The Saturday before that, I didn't win the lottery. Now by winning I mean the big one. The one where you say I might not hurry into work this morning.

I week before that, I didn't win it, the week before that..... Yip your right, I didn't win it.

Oh boy, boy-oh-boy, if I win it, Jesus it'll change me...... The week before that I didn't win.

Now we've done the numbers, it had to be 6 million or more. Not interested in any less. You can stick it, by the time I've bought the one mil house, cars, second home...... @ Broad haven, and had a few parties and seen a bit of the world, ohh, ohhh and gone on the London eye. I'm gonna struggle to keep myself in the live I've now chosen.

Well, bring out the flags!! Well done!! Congratulations!! More than two weeks after I registered to join a particular Dog breed rescue Forum, I have been granted permission to enter their hallowed pages!

Well, do you know what? I don't need you now, I've done it myself, so you can poke your inefficiency up your @rris!

Doesn't do much to change my opinion of the animal rescue situation in this country, does it!?

The greedy git who stole 250 quids worth of tools from my bloke's bag when he turned his back for a minute! It's a locked site, so it can only have been a work colleague. I could (almost) forgive some random, desperate for cash, kid off the street but these are middle aged men in full time employment who should know better! Grrrr!
I was feeling part of the scenery

"Hey" he said "Grab your things

This freezing cold weather, still. I'm going to bed, and the electric blanket WILL be on. It's only been off one day this year

Jules I'm so sorry to hear that the fairy is still on your case, your husband must feel terrible about his mistake. Hope she clears off soon.

Tightening up on policies at work which means I cannot leave until at least 4 in the afternoon. I have been leaving at 3 for a good few years, so this is a major work/life balance body blow. If I renegotiate my hours, I have to have a new contract on a different pay spine that is considerably less than I earn now. I need a lottery win, can I go to the front of the queue please?

Flea beetles have ravaged 20 savoy, 12 red cabbages and 6 kale seedlings all being kept away from the garden until they were big enough to survive flea beetle attack in the ground. First time in four years they have been found around the back of the house. And all in one afternoon.
With leeks still the size of pins and yet to be planted out, winter 2013/4 is going to be very lean.

The flea beetles didn't get a chance to eat mine, the slugs munched them first....I'm not sure who the winner is there.....
