I realize the irony of posting this here but my rant is people who can suck all the life and enthusiasm out of you with their negativity. I'm not perfect (who is?) but when I've spent quite some time being sympathetic and reassuring to you, then tell you some news that to me is really quite worrying - going silent, then carrying on with what you wanted to talk about just isn't very nice. Sadly, this is a close family member, not someone I can easily ignore. Feel pretty hurt tbh
