All doors and windows are open, cos it's turned out nice. I walked into the kitchen and Genghis is there spraying everything. I yelled and he jumped off the side (I put my toe up his bum - I love cats but I think this is an exceptional circumstance) But the damage is done. The toaster is a Dualit one as well! Also, he got my tray of fresh eggs, an oven mitt and the tea towels. I can wash everything but the toaster.
This is not the first time either. The neighbours did say they'd get him done after he did it before, but they didn't. They replaced the (nearly new) toaster last time but turned up with a £5.99 Argoose job to replace a very expensive Dualit 4 slice toaster and I had words. Eventually they did replace the cheapy with another Dualit the same as the one Genghis damaged. I'm going round to see them when they get in from work later. They can buy me another Dualit toaster. Considering just how much these toasters cost, it would be cheaper to get Genghis neutered!Jules

Keep a 'squirty' bottle of water handy, Jules. Every time he comes on to your property, spray him with water. He'll soon get the message.

It was not happy. We haven't seen it in the kitchen since.
My own minor rant: Couldn't get to the gc to look at 50p seeds because of working all week, now I have to be up at 7:00 tomorrow to help my daughter move house. The seeds'll all be gone by Sunday afternoon

Rant: people who devise ways of attacking cats and who the mods then have to reprimand and get into arguments with after getting complaints from other grapes. I have deleted a few responses.
Leave it there eh? We've been there and done that so many times.Last edited by zazen999; 31-08-2013, 08:47 AM.

I flip my lid when phoning companies and being offered a menu, "For so and so , press one, etc etc, often up 5 or more choices. on pressing my choice I am then offered more choices and so on. Finaly when i arrive at my desired choice I am told "All of our operators are busy, please try later".photo album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.html

Me again.
Aoûtats aka harvest mites. Oh well, first nibble in four years, although it seems a little unfair as I've hardly been outside for the last week, thanks to the pesky knee.Le Sarramea https://jgsgardening.blogspot.com/
