    • Dog that decided to rip packaging to shreds and the fly-swat into at least a hundred pieces. All of which were strewn, with some other, unharmed, paperwork, all across the hall and kitchen. Together with Hubby's boots. This, despite the fact I gave them a chew each, and left them about ten dog toys to chew whilst I was out. I'm resisting the temptation to kick her arris all round the garden, as she'll not know what I'm doing it for now.

      • Take cover!!! WW3 has just broken out.

Popped into Sainsbods to get lottery tickets, and the longest queue is at the firework kiosk.

Call me a party pooper, but Bonfire Night now lasts weeks.

          • Oh the fireworks. Not for the sake of the dog who is fine, but the poor bunnies!

Oh and the police cars chasing between the two parks stopping the darlings and their fireworks at midnight.

Lastly my neighbours on one side who, no matter what night of the week, come home at midnight and crash about, making the pup bark... The same ones who throw rubbish in the garden.

                        • Genghis strikes again! Not content with peeing in toasters, he's just chased Two Ton Tim up through my climbing rose (a HOOGE thing under my bedroom window, our cats use it as a shortcut to the bedroom window) and, between the two of them, their combined podginess has brought down the entire rose, trellis and all!!

It is hanging down over the livingroom window and I'm afraid it might snap (and eventually die) before I can deal with it tomorrow. Major prune time! And I'll need to get someone in to reattach the trellis if it isn't broken and needs replacing.

I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow!

                          • Forgetting that our 'recycling rubbish' is now going to be collected weekly, rather than fortnightly, so forgot to put it out at 7.00am, mind you most other people also forgot! Should be easier to remember really?
