Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

20 minutes spent sweeping the floor and vacuuming the rug.
Within 5 minutes the dog has messed it all up by ripping up a flyer, chewing a tissue and a twig from the garden. Then she added a muddy stone.
ETA - she is now doing zoomies up and down the living room, into the kitchen, with a water bottle in her mouth and she sounds like a herd of elephants.Last edited by Jeanied; 31-12-2013, 01:31 PM.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I can't even bring myself to show you my two; mud half-way up their sides, filthy tails, filthy feet. Yuk. Hubby's slipped disc is playing up, so they're not getting dunked in the bath, and it's torrential outside and blowing a hoolie, so they're not getting hosed either. Big cotton sleeping bag opened up on the kitchen floor, an they can lay there until they're dry. Tomorrow morning they're getting their hairy feet trimmed, and their tummy, leg feathers and tails, trimmed.

Well, Mr.G set light to the toaster the other evening, by turning on the hob underneath it. I've no idea why he has to sit things on the hob, instead of the other side of the kitchen where there's a bit more space, but hey-ho, too late now.
The following day, he opened the cupboard that contains the tins, jars and whatever, and knocked out a jar of marmite, which promptly fell on, and broke, the lid of the butter dish.
