Saturday, down the allotment for some watering and to start digging perennial weeds out of a new bed. It'll have to be an early start before it gets too hot to dig!
Sunday, round of golf and then some pottering. Mother-in-law is staying for a few days so I'm hoping to impress her with some home-grown produce...

Will be rotavating and seeding a new area of lawn in the garden and then digging up some spuds to go with a BBQ both nights!

Our forecast is for wind and rain ... no change then
I need to dig a new bed. The potatoes are ready later than anticipated and so I have a backlog of plants than need to go in pretty soon. The trouble is I'm not in the digging mood. I would rather plant seed ... which in turn will need to go into a bed .. and I haven't got enough beds to go round.
OK .. so it looks like I'm digging a new bed ... whatever the weather

I've got some NGS gardens to visit, and to photograph if the sun is out

Forecast is for sun, sun and more sun. Lucky we're off on our hols to Kerry for the week
Was up at the plot at 6am this morning and gave everything a good drink before we leave. Pity about all the strawberries and raspberries I'll miss but hey ho.

luckily they have the plot next door but one to me on site so easy greenhouse move (hopefully)
bargain £50 quid for them both, as they are moving.'' We came in different ships, but we're all in the same boat ''

I'll be:
potting on shedloads of small trees
weeding
maybe grafting if I get time
mending shed door
fixing lines for the experimental apple in the garden to stop it falling over
mulching and swoeing the bean area at the lottie
taking photos at community garden and updating the website
harvesting loads of strawbs and rasps; and making sure we eat the cabbage and kohl rabi and shedloads of peas and mange tout that we have ready each day.
Possibly start my 2013 jam making regime as already got enough strawbs for 3 jars jam [sorry VC]Last edited by zazen999; 05-07-2013, 10:13 AM.
