Three years ago I was in Afghanistan mid summer there's no way I will ever moan about this weather

Had to stop weeding earlier though as I thought I was in a dehydrator!

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I dug three stumps out the garden, then when I pretty much collapsed realised I should probably go in and get a drink. my neighbour was giving me a right telling off. a) The husband for lying down on the job (had to lie down after the final stump came out as I thought my ticker was going to give in), and b) the wife for not putting cream on/having a drink.

I've one more to come out - but it's rather awkward as it's half underneath a fence - I can't get access the otherside either - that's going to be "fun".

But me, I love the weather. I grew up in Saudi, so reminds me of being a toerag !

Mr Seahorse and I opt for taking turns to spray each other with the garden hose!

I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery

Garden until 11am then start again at about 5pm. The weather station says it 37 in the shade, but not too humid. Always wear a hat and sun block.
We were out on the motorbikes this morning - I still where leathers even in this heat. It is fine until MrPP decides to stop for a route conflab in full sun.
We have a well insulated house so keep all the doors, windows and shutters shut during the day. Guests are usually asked to please shut the windows again if they wish the house to remain cooler then outside...

I stayed in for most of the weekend, windows and doors open but curtains closed, and a fan in the office, where I sat sipping iced water, and sorting paperwork. I find loose clothing helps, and when washing off the BIIIG 'Orse this morning after our ride, the ruddy end shot off the hosepipe and soaked me. It was FREEZING! But nice!

To sleep at night, I have a shower, and go to bed wet, on a towel, on the bed, with a fan on.

I only tend to do that when on holiday abroad... been seven yr since I last did that! Being as it was hot earlier I might just give it a shot right now...

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Personally I like it to be warm but not too hot, with regular showers. This way I don't have to water aswell as weed.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
