              The stuff of nightmares?
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Is it a toad taddy? Toads have yellowy eyes, don't they?

It's one of the weirdest creatures I've ever seen, and she seemed quite friendly in her tank, following my hand movements (her owner said she recognises the people who feed her).

Here's a clearer photo of one:

I didn't recognise it by your photo, but I've kept these with fish and didn't seem any problems, although I wouldn't recommend it. I had problems trying to encourage them out of the water to bask. How large is yours?

2013, first year of trying to grow food for the table, any advice certainly welcomed.

                          I was gonna say; "It's a wide-mouthed Frog!"

                          But I won't.

I was going to say 'Mr Sheds' but I'd expect a virtual telling off.
