                  Aye, well when you consider I'm 6ft 7 and his mum's 5ft 11...

Worrying thing is, my parents are 5ft 11 (dad) and 5ft 9 (mum).

Bean's gonna be chuffing bignormous! Heavy set with it - I was always the proverbial beanpole.

Haha - he was always "off the chart" quite literally. Ever since birth.

With that kind of gene pool I think he'll top out at around the door frame. You'll have someone to look upto.....

Well, we've not done too bad...
                            • New shed
                            • Greenhouse erected
                            • tomatoes (maybe three fruits)
                            • peppers (chilli and bell) approx 5-6 fruits
                            • Chard (doing very well)
                            • Courgettes
                            • Beetroot (hopefully big enough soon)
                            • baby corn (unlikely to provide a harvest)
                            • leeks (doing ok)
                            • squash (possibly too late)
                            • peas (doing well)
                            • compost bin (two more to build)
                            • bug hotel ("Buggingham Palace")

Plot was pretty well cleared, and we've managed to keep on top of it. I also bought an old 200ltr drum from a farmer shop, installed a tap, and cut the lid off. I just need to get some guttering and a downpipe and that's ready to go.

Will be building a bed for Bean so he can enjoy our new plot, but he seems content in testing the produce for now (see pics).

                            We're getting there!

Good to hear from you again Wayne. Bean is a lovely boy - we're going to have stop calling him Bean at some stage though.

Haha - thanks. My visits will be sporadic at best, but I will try and be a more regular visitor than of late.

Truth be told, I tend not to call him Bean other than on here, and he's more a broad bean anyway.
