  • Starting again

Well, after a number of years, and a fair amount of hard graft, I'm giving up my plot this year. I just don't make the use of it as I'm not in the village any more, and taking Bean there on an odd occasion just isn't enough.

    However.

I HAVE A BRAND NEW PLOT!!!

Neet and I have just this weekend received the key to our new plot just a 5 minute cycle ride from home.

It's currently a weed jungle with around 6-7 sunflowers amidst it all, and a dead plumb tree (about 3ft high).

Even better than that, I'm finally allowed erections on my plot!!! Providing they don't take up more than 20% of the plot....

Neet, Bean and I are going to collect a number of things from the old plot this Friday - the things I can move (steel raised bed edges, barbecue, incinerator, bench/chairs etc), and I will keep the plot ticking over until my rhubarb and roses are dormant so that they can be moved.

Keen as mustard to get started - I've already taken a load of pallets from work to build a bug hotel, and a few compost bins. Both Neet and I are keen to get started!

New beginnings and all that. The world is our lobster.

I may even start blogging again....

The beauty of starting over big guy is you get to learn from all your failures first time around.

Sometimes I wish I had a different plot, but I know I'd not want to leave the one I've got, we invest a lot of ourselves in our plots.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
