I've just read somewhere that putting an ice cube on helps relieve the irritation. I tried this, and it certainly isn't quite so angry. That one works.
We keep antihistamine cream and spray in the cupboard because we all react badly to bites, even from midgies! Tea tree, aloe vera and witch hazel are all supposed to be good though.

I do like the clicker for itchy mozzie bites, but I think I get a little bit addicted to the buzz it gives you. I keep one in the lotty shed and one in my handbag.

Head-hunted member of the Nutter's Club - can I get my cranium back please ?
Horse flies had me good this year and I found a little pen type of thing with ammonia in it from B@@ts which was very helpful to reduce the stinging and itching. Just need to keep it cool really. They were on offer if you bought more than one in the shop mentioned above. Hope this helps a fellow sufferer. nothing usually bites me but it seems this year the things have heard about this phenomena and decided to seek revenge for those years the others left me alone! :O
