Our gardening club has been invited by another club who are hosting him.
I like hearing him on GQT but do I want to see him in the flesh
I like Bob and his gardening methods so I'd go and any way if you didn't you'd never know what sort of cake you missed

I mostly click 'new posts' so I didn't notice that bit of the vine missing. strange.

Could it be because they didn't like others answering or challenging them.

    • G'Moooooooornin' Peeps - still grey and drizzly here at the moment. I'm a little brighter, though.

I'd go, VC - curiosity, an' all that, and never miss an opportunity to learn sommat. I expect it'll be well subscribed, though. With you on the scissors!

I suspect the 'Experts' threads have been hidden due to the unwelcoming attitude they received. I would imagine the 'Experts' decided 'we' weren't worth their efforts. Just my opinion, before you all get ansty.

      • Lots of votes in favour of Bob - its not 'til October but I have to book a seat by next week. I imagine a basket at the door where you have to deposit all sharp objects before entering
Tis a mystery about the Experts - I'm amazed that it was noticed TBH!! Their role was unclear from the start On here we're used to answers within minutes, not weeks - so it was inevitable that we would chip in

Re the missing Experts, I searched for one of their threads and posted to it out of curiosity. Its appeared so the Forums are still there - but only if you search for them! How weird It was usually Grapes answering the questions anyway
Thanks for clearing this up VC et al. It's a bit of an odd move though. I thought there were some interesting and useful posts, but most would have been better off filed under other topics.

Great minds, VC! Although I suspect I'm only jealous, as I used to have enough hair to plait like that.

                        • Still raining here too We need it, but I have five bored grandchildren stuck indoors.

They have loads of toys to play with, and we have had a musical half hour, but all they want to do is go outside.
