Ok, out of ten veg classes, I have sorted the entries for rhubarb, beetroot, courgette, odd veg, big spud, long bean, runner beans. Yet to sort Collection, dwarf beans and potatoes.

Er - I have been out to the pub too, in case anyone thinks that I've spent the last 3 hours sobbing Cinderella-like over my mountains of french beans...

Right - I need to be bright-eyed and bushy tailed in the morning, so I'm off to my gwely. I'll leave you with a pic of Grumpy George the scarecrow.

Morning All.......weather much the same as yesterday, sunny spells. It did rain à la Monsoon season last night though.

Going sewing today - I've half-inched fabric, buttons and stuff from MinL's shop and going to sling together a couple of cushions and tea cosies to try and inspire people into buying some fabric and doing some sewing. I do wonder why half of the fabric is actually in the shop - it's just awful and it's clearly not selling.

        Coffee?

Good morning, it's Sunday and I'm up early so that I can get down to the council tip before the mad rush. I have to empty a pair of old brick built sheds of all the rubbish, sort out what is still useful and then knock down the two sheds to make room for a new greenhouse that I'm intending to build over the winter. The area is south east facing so I think I'll be alright for growing chillies and okra as well as other exotics for my wife's traditional Punjabi cooking. The things I will do for a good homemade curry! Just time for a coffee and then I will make a start.

And its Happy Sunday from me too! I have a different view from my window this morning - back to the sea and sand for the first time in 4 weeks. Garden very overgrown - the blueberries are lost in mounds of bindweed Guess what I'll be doing today

Morning all - it's bright and breezy here. We're off dan sarf today. Spending tonight in Portsmouth and then to the IoW on Monday. I've never been and it's almost abroad - you have to go on a ferry! Weather forecast is good and I am quite excited. Going to visit Stonehenge on the way. Have a good day everyone.

Morning the suns up and the gardens waiting for attention its surprising how much needs doing after being away for 5 days.

Enjoy your holls Susie and you're right its nearly abroad so you'd best watch out for those foreigners

Jules a good window display is bound to make a difference plus some people need to see what can be made with fabric rather than seeing it just on a roll.

                      Good Luck, Hazel!!!

Just took my coffee up to the workroom. Put it on the desk and my new roll of freezer paper fell off the shelf above and straight onto the cup. It might only have been a little cup but it quite obviously has tardis properties. Lots of fabric bits now in a pillowcase in the wash, as well as the clean clothes I'd just put on!

I am now sitting here until I finish this cup - coffee is banned from the workroom!

And it's come over all stormy looking outside too. Joy. Not.

Afternoon All, good luck again Hazel. Oops Jules! Feeling a little better this morning, but still griping pain. I think I'm going to get my son to bring me a bottle of brandy - medicinal only of course. It's so frustrating wanting to do things, but feeling too weak.

Afternoon Awl.....brightened up here - lovely and warm with a very pleasant breeze. Fabrics and laundry almost dry.

Nearly finished the cushion fronts - my gawd, that fabric is busy. And bright, very, very, bright...

Evening all. Bit of a carp day really. Done bits of this and bits of that and don't really feel I have accomplished anything. Plus I'm hungry and dinner seems to be taking forever to cook

Evening All. Himself managed to water the tomatoes again, but I've had to do the rest. Greenhouse plants were gasping and the courgettes in containers were droopy. Absolutely whacked now. Thought the port and brandy had done the trick this morning, but I'd best have another this evening Hope your dinner soon cooks RL. I've had a bit of chicken breast with some dry bread (not dry, dry, just not buttered). Sunny but breezy evening here. Daughter and family have been to Blackpool and had a fantastic day - part of it in the dungeons. She couldn't believe that the Red Arrows were there - they seem to be following her when she goes to the coast, which incidentally has been quite a bit recently. Scarborough, Bridlington, Cleethorpes and Blackpool this week alone!
