  • Aaaaaaaaaaaarternooooooooon Peeps! Rain overnight, but it's brightened up now, and getting warmer.

Dog car bed on the line, laundry in the machine, Hubby working on car (until the GP starts, then he'll be stuck in front of the TV for a bit )

We're dog-sitting for chums today - lovely dog, but the rotter has no respect for fences, and keeps going under the chook fence, and escaping to the outer bit with the long grass, that I like to keep as a buffer between us and the footpath. Twice I've had to go dismantle the fence to get him back in! He even ignored me when I yelled at him to not go under, the second time - I don't want my two learning how to do it. Looks like a fence re-think is on the cards.

    You lot OK?

                      • Morning All.....where is the promised tropical sunshine that the Waily Fail have been banging on about? We have grey cloud and it's a tad chilly out there.

Spent yesterday doing the henhouse again. Sheesh...I've got the itches just thinking about it. I went out there Saturday night with the torch and there was nothing. Yesterday morning there were loads stuck in the DE and the vaseline - probably from off the girls - so I gave everything another spray

After that, I was making animal shapes for the appliques I want to put on the new living room cushion covers. I've done a stag, a fox, a hare, a squirrel and swallows. I might do a horse too. Today I need to find big pieces of wool felt to cut the appliques out from. Might even get some sewn to the fabrics. I'm using tweeds and country checks with a very good mock suede.

                        Coffee?
                        Jules

Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?

                        • Morning all - bright and sunny here. We're off to the plot. I am dragging hubby there to re-felt my shed roof. Oh the romance and the excitement of married life!

                          Have a good day all.

I'll probably stop by the allotment at some point as well.
