  • Evening all. Tired, but not as grumpy.

Need some fresh air. Been sat indoors all week. Tomorrow perhaps. Plan to play on the plot.

    • Finally managed to get hold of Hubby by sending a text and he rang back. Phone isn't off, he's just in a bad signal area. Funny how ya worry, innit!?

Had a dozen things I wanted to do when I got home, now can't think what any of them were!

Muggy, my Mum would have said. Could do with a good storm to clear the air.

              • It's muggy here too, or "close". Not "close" as in "close the door" but "close" as in the avenue-type-thing. Well, never mind, I know what I mean. I really want a storm to clear the air, but Himself will be in an awful grump if there's no signal for Sky. BTW there's also the comment of "heavy innit?"

                • Whatever you call it, it feels really uncomfortable. The dog is fidgeting and my ankles are swollen

                  • Get those feet up RL! I've got swollen feet and ankles too. Left foot is the most swollen, so it's up on the computer table by the side of the screen. Just a bit awkward to type, but it brings the swelling down

                    • Do you sit like that in work too Flo? You must be very flexible

                      • Ah, those were the days when I was flexible. More rigid nowadays, but I can hoist my leg on to the table

                        • I can hoist my leg onto the table but can't reach the keyboard. Short legs and arms
The only long legs around here belong to the table

                          • Ma and I have opened the box containing the poly. Oh, so exciting. Debating whether I want to replace the Wendy cover once again. Might get told off, actually, for having the Wendy and the poly...

                            • What-ho, peeps!

Back from shopping at Assda - why is it that it is the most ginormous store in the universe, and open 24hrs, yet the cafe closes at 7pm? And when you go in at 6.30pm, everying is being/been cleared up, and all they can manage is a measly cheese and ham toastie, and tea?

However, it matters not, I am here getting ready to go out and with a glass of orange and citrus blossom tea bag wine. Mmmmmmmmmm.
