Hello to all the real Nutters and Grapes Glad to see you're sorting the impostors out, BM
Lovely sunny morning again! Hoping my brother is coming over to sort the toilet flush out. He has his uses - and he makes me laugh
Have a happy day everyone - even the spammers
Morning All Bright start here so another lovely day before the weather starts to change. It took me an hour and a half to water last night, so I really would appreciate a drop of the wet stuff. You're right Mally, we're much nearer the weekend now, so hope everyone has a good day. See you later.
Morning All.....looking good out there. Was a distinctly Autumnal fragrance out there this morning - the farmer along the way has a bit of a bonfire going. I think it's going to be a lovely day. Must do some watering, especially the tubs & pots. Hope it doesn't cloud over, BH wants to go to The Spot tonight. On days like this I miss Caskie Benn and walking in the woods.
Have woken up this morning with a mozzie bite at the base of my thumb, in that V of thin skin. The bite itself is a huge red blistered weal, and my thumb is badly swollen. And it's really itchy. I have a cushion commission but sewing isn't going to be any too easy. I wonder if my toggles will arrive today? Bit too soon, methinks.
All this talk of jams and pickling. I haven't preserved anything since the BH was diagnosed diabetic. I do miss it. Maybe I'll make some pickled onion rings. No, I tell a lie - I have made my mincemeat for this year but that was way back in May......
Coffee, anyone?
Jules
Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?

I was hoping not to have rain for once this evening. Neighbour has done some burning of my nasty weedy paddock/gully. Hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow night now as well! I don't want to do it, as I don't want to be responsible for burning the whole place down!
Just waiting for all to come home so I can have dinner.
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!
One bit of old folklore wisdom says to plant tomatoes when the soil is warm enough to sit on with bare buttocks. In surburban areas, use the back of your wrist. Jackie French

G'Moooooooooooornin' Peeps - it's been forecast to be about 28 degrees today!! I may melt.
Binners - that's why there's a good Ik€@ trade on the 'Bay! Hope everyone's well, I'm off to get my lazy arris dressed and go do stuff. Psyching myself up for my annual CT check tomorrow (three years - doesn't time fly!?). Oh how I love apricot flavoured barium drinks NOT! Bleeeuugh!
Have a fab day, all.

Young brother has been and sorted the toilet and the taps My job was to run up and down stairs turning the water on and off at the stopcock. I do like to be useful
Sent him away with some tomatoes as a thank you!
Lunch time here - once I've picked some more toms Hope you're all enjoying your day !!
Just set up an energy monitor. Quite scary how much electricity the kettle uses. TV on standy was 1.5p a minute. Knew there was a reason to turn it off. Pruned the rose by the front door as the postie complained to my son.
Now need to venture into the back garden to pick toms and water. It's very hot. Can't believe the weather is about to change.

Little helpers just gone home. We had a good day - they're so much better behaved when Mummy isn't here.
I used to find that RS when our grandkids where little, I found the only way to get around it was for me to drop the kids of then run it wasn't always convenient but it made life easier.
