Phew! Right - who's got a spare glass and something to put in it??

I've just finished cutting the infill triangles for my quilt - it took rather a lot of maths as the cutting sheet wasn't accurate. My blocks are the size that they are supposed to be, but when I cut the corner triangles in the cream fabric, I could see that there was something a bit odd going on.

No matter, after some head scratching and pencil sucking, it's all done - although I don't think that I'm going to go and do any actual sewing this evening - I am all out of concentration!

Edit - panic over, it's ok, there's half a bottle of citrus blossom wine in the fridge.

Still dry here though the sky's gone very dark - maybe because its 9 o'clock
Been busy today trying to clear the kitchen floor of clutter - its double the size now

Quilt's looking good, Hazel!

I've just finished the cushion for the chap. I think I should have written the name in a darker fabric for more contrast, but it's done now and I'm sure he'll like it - cos he won't know any better, not being a pedant like me.

I would pinch the wine bottle and cadge a glass from you VC, but I'm off to bed instead. Concentrating on outlining the name on that cushion has completely cream-crackered me.

I've been mega busy cooking for a two day fair at the weekend followed by a two day one next weekend .......could be a mistake
Country and game fair at a local stately home Arbury hall followed by next week the festival of british motoring at the NAC stoneleigh. If I sell out at the weekend I'll be cooking the night shift and if I don't then there's always next weekend

Don't know where else to enquire, but could someone just fill me in briefly on what happened to the 'expert' soil and kitchen garden bit of the vine. I don't look at it every day and must have missed its demise/transformation/privatisation some days ago? Thanks

Re the missing Experts, I searched for one of their threads and posted to it out of curiosity. Its appeared so the Forums are still there - but only if you search for them! How weird It was usually Grapes answering the questions anyway

Morning all - damp and drear here too. Waiting for the carpet boys to arrive. We are on an upstairs re-organisation; decorating and moving things around. I made the courgette and ginger jam yesterday and once the carpet boys have been I can look for my runner bean chutney recipe. Have a good day all. VC - if I had the chance to see Bob Flowerdew in the flesh, I would certainly go!
