After jumping through hoops at the DVLA Mr Pots has put his 1964 Lambretta project on the road, he says it still need a bit ow tweaking but its ridable now

Evening all. Spent all afternoon on the beach with 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 2 dogs. Very wet I got, and totally cream crackered.

Was a lovely afternoon though. Funny how all the sandy stuff ended up back at my house though

At least my hands aren't still burning from Jalepeno jelly, and the poly arrived today.

Sent a marrow and a couple of courgettes with Pops to the temple-Krishna birthday, gurgle it-didn't fancy going, because of the grump. "Of all the things to send as a offering," said pops and his box of jalebies.

all right, Aunty Bren? I would go, haven't been in years mind pops always goes. It's fab because of all the hustle and bustle. There is 'manger' moment at midnight, I think. Have never been there for that. As its always a school night. Remember being in New Delhi 13 years ago on the same night-was also my GCSE results day- and you couldn't move. City was thronging.

Tonight, I'm grumpy due to work. I shall have to shake it off.
