Afternoon All! Had a very good morning - the doggy lady was lovely and I'm sure she'll make a good Doggy Mum.
My Mum was beaming from ear to ear. She didn't stop smiling and telling me all the things that she can see that she's only seen through a blur before. She's been dreading the surgery for months - now she can't wait to have the other eye sorted
The only disappointment today was that the seeds were still full price at the local garden centre. Probably just as well really
Hope you're all enjoying your day

Just back from the allotment. Just a quick visit to pick some beans and a little weep at what the sodding caterpillars have done to my brassicas. They're also eating the radish leaves and the mixed salad leaves and even the horseradish.
Too hot to do anything much over there.

Same here RL - it seems to get much hotter over the course of the day - dog is busy doing zoomies from the living room into the kitchen and back again - ears flying - with an empty water bottle in her mouth!Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Evening darlings!
Trying not to be grumpy, but grateful that I have paid employment. It's just not nice when you get shafted and messed around, repeatedly. The one upside, two additional hours. Only four away from full time.
However, tomatoes in the 4TB are on the turn! Woo-hoo! Plus TBBT season 6 came yesterday. That is how easily pleased one is!
Waiting for mama to have a cuppa, then gonna visit the plot.

Eeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps! Gawd it's been warm today - I should be half this size the amount I've melted today!
Glad your Mum's happy, VC! Hope the job's not too much of a pain, HH. I did read back, but I can't remember all the ups and downs, sorry. Got to go put my Chooks to bed, then get in the tub...All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment

Could be worse, might not have employment yet again. Watching TBBT now, and also getting fed, so trying to cheer up!

Did you know that if Ikea haven't got something but it's at another store then they won't get it shipped over for you ......it's because they're a cash and carry So OH has done two Ikea stores today to get new blinds .....he wasn't impressed ..think a few swear words my have been said.
I'm also trying to get stuff ready for our lottie open day on Sat ......S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

Just waved the boys off - No:1 son came home with No:2 son, for a visit. A run around the garden, a lot of doggie excitement, and they mulched a garden bed each. Gone again now. Oh No:2 son cooked us all an omelet so was good value.
More watering done, and more to do - but I keep forgetting to move the hose, and since the timer broke..it's not good.
The last of the cooking to be done soon and we'll be set for another fortnight I think. Maybe longer.
Weather has been overcast, but warm enough. Just loving not being cold all the time!
And loving the green grass coming through - woohoo! Will be complaining soon enough of horses jumping out of their skins with too much energyAli
