I've always been a great sleeper, until this year. Cold all winter, hot all summer - driving me daft, it is!
Anyway, Butcher visited, Horsey chores done, Dogs taken for a walk. Just the Chooks to put to bed, then I can have a good old wallow in the tub; my left arm hurts like h€ll from the canula (think He hit a nerve), but I am a huge baby so I'll just shut up about it now, and drink my medicine...
G&T anyone?

Evening All. Still raining here, but all is quiet on the Western Front, no more Big Bangs and as we have had no more visits from the law they must be satisfied that no-one Shot the Sherriff. Hope you're ok G4, it's a lot to cope with, so you're allowed a wobbly. My wake-up call is usually around 4.30 a.m. and I just doze after that. I used to get up at 5.30 week days, but I sometimes stay in bed until 6.30 now because I can't start work before 8.00. Tomorrow is my treat stay in bed with October GYO.
Haha! Cheers for the sympathy, Hon. I'm sorry I'm such a wuss. Hi HH. *Waves
Off to soak my aches in the tub now, then a lazy night in front of the box, before an early start tomorrow. We're dropping the Dogs off at my Folks' and heading to a certain Land Rover Show. Look out Peterbog - here we come!

I think it's something that wakes me, rather than me just waking. I don't remember any sort of noise when I wake up. I'm wondering if'n it's someone working shifts. Quite a few folk around here have mopeds and also, there is a heavy goods vehicle breakdown place not far away; their recovery trucks are very noisy and go out in pairs.
I slept all afternoon so feel better now. I've sat at the machine and appliqued the name on one cushion using a decorative stitch; you have to really concentrate so I'm glad I've managed it and it looks smart. Have also made and stitched on the piping. Now trying to find four or five matching buttons for the back.
DD has texted - just collected a load of vintage Country Life mags and bridal mags from Freecycle. She wants me to take my coffee machine around over the weekend, so we can look through together. Sounds great, but I must finish these two cushions as I've another three to make for Thursday morning
Lottie - you watch that nail hole doesn't turn nasty. You don't want to be laid up, specially if you're off out for Sunday lunch!
Seeing as my sleep pattern is totally out of sync, I may as well have a coffee. It's bloomin' chilly down here after the warm workroom.
Evening all! Back early from shopping (went to the nearby big Tessco rather than a jaunt further afield (BOOOOORING!! says mum, who tags along for the ride)) partly because they have the cat's food at £3 a carton at the mo (£4.70 normally) and weight watchers yoghurty things with fruit underneat for a quid for 4 (£1.50 normally). Yes, I am a tightwad.
This means I have time to trim the two end pieces of my peach quilt and attach them, and maybe cut the dark peach borders too...
Second thoughts, I'll leave the borders till tomorrow, then I can have a glass of wine. I have 400 calories left to play with today, so I'm feeling decadent!
