It was nice here this morning then we've had rain ever since, so I got a bit wet going for my free 'NHS health check' good news is I don't have to alter my eating or lifestyle.
Evening all... Quiet in here... The evenings really are drawing in now..
Wonder when my Athena Polka courgette plant will realise Autumn is here and slow down
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
Hi Trip I've been playing with the VSP - sorting some seeds for Zaz to take to Espagna.
My Polkas will flower any day now - and I only sowed them a few weeks back when you were all bragging about how prolific they were
Can I offer you coffee? - No,- I thought not

There's always next year for a Polka. I bought another packet in the 50p scramble
I have this lot in the GH, hoping for a late crop !! If not, I'll be over to see you for a few handouts
No problem VC
You are top of the list!! I will definitely be sowing it again next year, that's for sure..
Hard to believe it is the time of the year already to be talking about next year's plans...

It is a bit scary - all this talk of heating and nights drawing in, what to sow for winter and next year's plants. Summer shouldn't be over yet I've only just found my shorts
Happy Thursday everyone................wow, there's a lot of Rushkies on board today...............have good days.

Morning all ... these early mornings over coffee are the best time for me at the moment. Such a shock to the system going back to work.
been busy but have now come to a full stop ......ran out of jars
Do you buy your jars Bins? I have been stockpiling for months and have 'blagged' loads from people at work and I am still running low now. It has been such a good year for fruit that I have made a lot of jam. Not sure what to do next. I have been putting plums and blackberries in the freezer, but the freezer is getting full too! Was debating about buying cheap sauces from supermarket (25p) a pot and using the jars. Just seems so wasteful to chuck it away though.
Hello Grapeys! Are we all bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready for a brand new Thursday?
Bit overcast here but I don't care - I'm going to the seaside to build sandcastles
Have a good day whatever you do
