I've been playing with the VSP - sorting some seeds for Zaz to take to Espagna.
My Polkas will flower any day now - and I only sowed them a few weeks back when you were all bragging about how prolific they were

Morning all ... these early mornings over coffee are the best time for me at the moment. Such a shock to the system going back to work.
Do you buy your jars Bins? I have been stockpiling for months and have 'blagged' loads from people at work and I am still running low now. It has been such a good year for fruit that I have made a lot of jam. Not sure what to do next. I have been putting plums and blackberries in the freezer, but the freezer is getting full too! Was debating about buying cheap sauces from supermarket (25p) a pot and using the jars. Just seems so wasteful to chuck it away though.been busy but have now come to a full stop ......ran out of jars
