Three loads waiting to go out and one more in the machine. Drizzle has lifted here so hopefully chance of drying. Housework this am then going to be brave and sort out the compost bin I use at the allotment for storing weed membrane, netting and sacks. Why brave? I know there's at least one rat in there, smells like more. Yuck!

Got loads of washing to do too- typical eh? ( is Thursday the new Monday? ( Washing Day)...and if Thursday has now become the first day of the weekend...then what's happened to the other days of the week/weekend?...aww...it's too early in the morning to be thinking like that!)

my actual veg patch is buried under a fallen-out-of-the-hedge tree at present. Can't do anything about removing it until all its leaves die off (roots are still in the bank). This means I have pots and the greenhouse to grow in for now.

Morning,summer been and gone,dank and miserable here,lots to do,and feel like nothing,tried to kick ass,but not as nimble as i was,DH doing the finishing touches to shed,got lots of the garden stuff in,then it's the freezer,my very own shed,well,he has his share,amazing what effect the weather has on us,

The supermarket yesterday had racks of "Seasonal items". Flipping 'eck, don't they know its still September
I've just had my car tax reminder - I hate this vicious circle - happens every year and I forget it. I can't tax the car online as the insurance runs out on the 29th Sept and it isn't logged into the system before that date. And since the MOT runs to 11th October I can't have that done before 12th September. So I have 2 weeks for the service and MOT - most of which I had planned to be away for
Have just booked the MOT for next week and will keep my fingers crossed that there are no problems! Now what was I doing before the postman arrived

It says you can't proceed because of either.........something.......something or your insurance runs out on or about the renewal date. 30th September is a Monday too so I hope they update the database on a Sunday night

I tax & insure online, it's brilliant. I've even got my insurance documents on my phone...no paperwork....god help me if I lost my phone, it's got my life on it.............

Just tax it for 6 months this time VC then pick up the 12 month cycle.

I don't seem to have the option of 6 months BM. It's only £30 a year and there's no cost by the 6 months box
EDIT - Just checked the DVLA website and 6 months is not available on low emission cars
