      • Evening all. Sat here with alcohol free wine. I've been wanting to try it, honest! And trust me, it's real!

Have survived this week. Only 30 something left. First Time in 4 years, that I'm a full time, and it's a permanent post. Might not last though.

Do wish my overwintering stuff would come. Would mean, psychologically at least, that autumn winter has started and that I can start tidying up things.

        • Evening. There's been another flush of runner beans, probably due to all the rain this week. I'm not complaining. I've been picking apples too tonight, but there are more on the ground that have been ravaged by creepy crawlies than are left on the tree. Oh well, enough to stew and jar. Alcohol free wine HH? Nah, where's the fun in that? Keeping my fingers crossed for you that permanent is just what it says on the tin.

                • *Passes glass... Anyone else? My first one seems to have evaporated!

Think I'll go have a wallow - I left the immersion on by mistake so may as well not waste all that hot water.

                  • Know what you mean chick. I really wind down on Friday nights, especially when I know I don't have to go anywhere over the weekend. Two whole days to do exactly as I want, or not do IYKWIM.

                        • Cheers darlings. Post has been permanent since I started a year ago. It's movement from 16-22 hours, that has changed. The change is not so permanent, that's the trouble. But I'm thankful for the gainful for the gainful employment. That's what's keeping me going.

The wine's odd. Not quite sure what to make of it. Wine, but with the alcohol removed.

G4 I'll say no to the G&T but I might have a pint of Hobgoblin later on seeing as I'm not at work tomorrow, I put the day in because its our wedding anniversary again, the years do fly by quick.

Congrats on getting permanent work HH

Someone came into a very quiet patient reception this afternoon and said "Can someone call me a taxi?" I didn't comment, I'm far too professional, but the receptionist couldn't help herself.
