Think I might get some rather strange admiring glances if I wore that One Nicos.

You just reminded me, I bought a lotty hat. Don't wear it though, they always give me a headache.

It's a man's one, cos I has a big head (shut up at the back) and blue to match my shed

My lottie hat is essential too, fair skinned and a migraine suffer. However I couldn't have a straw one as it has to go in the wash at regular intervals. Don't think my class noticed when I wore it at school earlier in the week that it was a bit muddy!

I have to wear a hat in the sun and heat, but generally go for a baseball cap (what? at your age?! Yes!) To keep extra cool, sprinkle the crown of your hat with water - as the water evaporates it will cool the air inside the crown - bliss!

They do black ones: our pound shop had some, so now our scarecrow has one

Here's my hat - bought in the north of Thailand and handpainted by a man without legs, who earned a living by painting hats and other things. I asked him for flowers and butterflies and this is the result. I don't often wear it as I like it for its memories, not for its usefulness.
I only wear a hat if I'm out in the sun for a long time - like walking or on a boat. They annoy me too much to wear in the garden

head size is why I wear baseball caps - my head is small so most hats are too big, but BB caps can be adjusted

I always wear a hat outside - fleece, baseball or pink, floppy sun hat depending on the weather. It's such a habbit now I feel odd without one!
And I always put on sunblock if its sunny, even in the winter.

Went to the plot yesterday and discover someone has removed all the grass from outside my gate(Another plot neighbour did this for me)
Started to clear the path down the side of the beds and at the end I discovered a compost bin and an apple tree. I can now get to the pond.
                                Another plot...
