Oh yes!! My favourite weekend breakfast...though what I fancy now is the fish finger and croquette double decker sandwich that I used to russle up after a night out during my student days...

I like crisp sarnies too but I had a disappointing experience t'other day with a packet of salt-it-yourself crisps. A mean little sachet of salt - whatever happened to the blue bags with a twisted top. If you were extra lucky you got 2 bags of salt. Ahhh, them were the days.............

Another favourite form my youth was cheddar cheese and sausage sandwiches with Daddies sauce. Used to love the way the hot sausage melted the cheese.

Didn't they bring out flavoured Sandwich Spreads at one point too?

I seem to remember my mum getting a load of them when I was a growing lad (probably on offer at Presto... She got experimental when they had offers).

I think they did a cheese one and a chicken tikka flavoured one...

So a couple of weeks later than intended, work has commenced on my anti-ratty tunnel today.

Dismantling the existing structure was a lot harder than I expected, a lot of stuck screws that no amount of WD-40 would liberate! So a lot of action for my sharp mate Stanley, my hand axe and my...
