Peonies from seed

Has anyone tried to grow peonies, tree or bush type from seed?
They have such lovely fat seed pods I'm tempted to have a go.

Search button! Good idea. Just found this. How to Grow Peonies from Seed. Seems as if they take about three years to flower. But worth a go. Watch this space but don't hold your breath!
