Driftwood to be slightly more precise. Can anyone identify the type of wood this is, please?
This is my sanded down driftwood. There was hardly any bark on it, more green slime than anything else, when we picked it up. Initially it dried out very pale, but more colours came through as I sanded. I've taken about 2mm off, all over, with sanding. The only finishes on the wood are clear silicone wax and Sheraton's Wood Balm - nothing with any colour to it.
