I know it was microwave based but it's the first thing I thought of when thinking of Welsh Kitchens...

The one thing I'd say about business is to be completely clear what your offer is...otherwise people just get confused.

        Well, usually a business is
a Kitchens and Bedrooms installer or
        dolls dress maker or
        christmas decoration maker or
        card maker or
        furniture coverer or
        party cake maker or
maker of driftwood pieces of art and furniture, picture frames and mirrors.

Rather than all of those things...

What about trying to get into the show home market?

I agree with zazen that you are trying to cover too wide a range with one name. The arts and crafts side needs to be separate from the building and installation side or both sets of potential clients will be put off. For instance, would you think of having your kitchen installed by someone who has been recommended to you as making fabulous cakes and Christmas decorations? Doesn't have that ring of confidence, does it?

You need a gallery for the arty stuff and an office for the kitchens, even if only online ones.

Agree with Mothhawk, something sort of general for your arty venture- eg Serendipity, Miscellany (with a welsh spelling) Cornucopia, Gallimaufry - you could give them all a Welsh spin with lots of extra consonants!! And them something more descriptive and even 'dull' for the kitchen business.

One question Mikey,is it to be solely for Welsh customers bud ? if not could you use something like .. Products from The Valleys ... it's non descriptive & EVERYBODY associates The Valleys with Wales ,a title only in Welsh is a nice idea from a nationalistic point of view, but could possibly work against you as it would mean any non Welsh speakers needing to translating it.

I agree with bearded bloke. If you want a name that says Wales to customers it would be better if it pointed to Wales, rather than was in Welsh, if you're going for a wider U.K. audience.

                        How about something like -

Cymru Complete Interiors. (Just checked if there's already a company using it - can't find it online - and if the website address is available - yes, in .co.uk and .com)

                        Good luck with it all.

I like that VC - even non Welsh speakers would read that as Crafty. There was a Staffordshire oatcake shop in Stoke called Oat Cuisine and another called The Oat Cake Corral - they both made me smile. Clever and amusing.
