I've got my reclining chair set up ready all i need now is for the clouds to clear.

It occurs to me that the skylight in my loft faces South. I wonder if I could put a chair up there and see Perseus through the open window...

Just come back from neighbours, we've been reclining in the conservatory - we all swore that we'd seen some meteors!! The sky is so clear tonight, so many stars, I'm going to get a sweater and sit outside for a while - and hope to see something

I've been out on my recliner wrapped in a blanket and saw 3 meteors

I've been out wrapped in a blanket too - saw several possibles but one magical one, that sped from north to south seeminly above the roof of the house. Such a beautiful night, so clear, just the sound of the waves coming over the sand bar, the crickets and the occasional night bird. Just me, 3 dogs and a shooting star I think heaven may be like this

I did not have the luxury if a blanket or a recliner and rapidly got a sore neck. On the plus side I did see 2 streaks shooting across within about 15 mins.

Then then heard some shuffling on the drive and met chubby Mr Hedgehog who was not really expecting to see me and hastily shuffled under my car.

I might put the hammock up this evening if it is dry and try again tonight.

I saw about 5 in 15 minutes, amazing sight! 1 was huge and yellow, actually looked like a ball of flame shooting rather than the typical white shooters!

My OH and I lay side by side on sun loungers under a blanket in the back garden and hoped none of the neighbours looked out to see us pair of weirdos! Is it on again tonight then? It's raining here
