While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.

I can't wait. Hubs at work so I'll grab my teenage son, who I'm sure will be thrilled at the prospect of sharing a sun lounger in a dark garden with his mother!
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

The skies are darkening and I can see the first stars - but more than that - the Man in the Moon has come out from behind the trees - he has a perfect profile tonight

Just pondering, if you were an "ancient" would you worship the sun or the moon? Tonight, for me, its the moon - he has personality - and you can't look at the sun or he'll blind you. So the Moon is gentle, kind and brightens the dark hour. I am moonstruck - I am a Lunatic

Few years ago when we were on holibobs on Halki there was a meteor come down in the sea ......scariest thing I've ever heard .........first there was the bang as it came through (bit like a sonic boom) then a tremendous flash .. it landed in the sea off Rhodes ..

I haven't seen any this year, but I have been singing quietly to myself...

I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
                          I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care...

I've just come inside too. Sitting there, under a blanket, head back, looking at inky blackness .......- I can't stay awake Same thing happens in the cinema (without the blanket ) Haven't seen any tonight but the one I saw last night will stay with me for ever

I managed to wake early and its cloudy Have been sitting outside for half an hour but the clouds didn't break. However, its very mild and the curlews and marsh birds are burbling away. I could listen to them for hours. Worth getting up for
For the record, there's only 1, maybe 2, real people on here at the mo - the rest are "Russians"
