Hi all,

I was just looking through the Shopping Centre link on the site and thought that there really isn't enough variety, or numbers of online stores.
I assume that the links to the stores within the Shopping Centre link are sponsors, but maybe we could have a dedicated setion within the forum that is for various online shops that are competative and also reliable?

A nice idea- but I think it would be considered unpaid advertising by Admin.

We do have a section where peeps an recommend a product- or shop.

I just thought it would be an overall good idea if we as members were given discounts at those shops/stores, obviously using a discount code, and the forum has a section in which those stores have a link.

Basically, they get extra sales through this site and we get discounts as a result.

Hi everyone,

This is something we've debated in the past and had to decline. We've made a 'catch-all' rule of no advertising which makes our guidelines more black and white and easier for everyone to follow. This ensures that the advertising that is shown has been seen by various in-house staff and to vetted to various degrees. Although this isn't full proof, it stops dodgy redirects, false advertising and more importantly SPAM. It also reduces the work done by our great moderating team as there aren't 100's or 1000's of links being checked daily.

On top of this it keeps the advertising we have on the site transparent and appropriate. I hope you understand and agree with our position on this.
