  • Any good TV veg growing programme recommendations?

    Evening all,

I got stuck into the fork-to-fork veg growing programme which I believe aired ~1999 and was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for any shows I can watch on iPlayer or youtube etc about growing your own food?

    Many thanks,

    Samuel

I like Sean's Allotment on hortichanneltv - I also quite like Rick on the same site

    Both well worth a look

I've been meaning to look at this:

BBC One - Beechgrove Garden - Episode guide

Since seeing it recommended on this website.

Oh, and yes Sean is rather good. Been meaning to watch more of his programs.

While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.

Beechgrove on TV and Sean's Allotment on the web. Gardeners World obviously. Also a few podcasts, GQT, Gardeners Corner, Gardening with Joe and Tim. The old Fork to Fork series is excellent and I'm watching the episodes via YouTube at the moment.

Victorian Kitchen Garden, Wartime Kitchen Garden - I think they're available on DVD. The Big Dig was a brilliant series, I've watched it about 4 times, that may be on DVD too. Beechgrove is brilliant.
