  • Comet ISON

Seen as we had a thread regarding the Perseid meteors earlier this month .

    According the astronomical press .
We are due for a bright comet in November .

Might be worth a look as its likely to be visible to the naked eye

                    So it is close then.
Last I heard they were playing down how big and bright is was going to be.
Started out to be a noticable as Halle Berry was now it seems it may not be as good.

Everything about ISON so far is a PREDICTION ( speculation and conjecture)- it has to go round the back of the sun - it may not survive this encounter and only after it has been round the sun will we know exactly how bright it will be .November will be soon enough to start worrying about it .

Plant your onions - if nothing else it will keep you busy and if it all goes wrong you'll never see it coming :-)

I never have much luck with onions anyway - this could be the ISON on the cake
