trouble at vine

I had terrible probs last night. couldn't find the server etc, so gave up in the end. It looks OK tonight. Do we know wot it was?

Everything was fine this end and I'm on dial up. What time were you trying to get on?

about 6:00pm to about 7:00pm I got the screen that said it had sent an e-mail reporting the problem, but didn't say what the trouble was. All the other sites & forums were OK just the Vine.

Hi Nick, I was on between 6 and 7 last night and had no problems and I am on dial up as well. Must have been at your end. Well at least its ok tonight.

Yes - I found it very slow yesterday too (broadband) for most of the day and there was me saying I never had problems!!!

been fine since, but I was logged into a couple of other forums & they were working OK - V strange. ah well Tis alright now to quote Free.

Yeah I got that one too - refreshed it and got it a couple of times - spam the buggers!!!

seemed better yesterday, but today is lots of page won't display again.

not had probs getting in, but does anyone else find that posting a reply is V-E-R-Y slow? I'm on broadband, but it still seems to take yonks sometimes.

FVV, Posting seems to be the same speed here on the Grapevine as I have always found on other newsgroups and forums. I'm on dial up but there does not seem to be a time lag? Perhaps I'm used to a slower Internet experience as we can't have broadband here in our house
