Snap VC. Exactly what I wear.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Walking boots. Always. In fact, they're very rarely off my feet since I broke my ankle, and when I'm not wearing walking boots, I'm wearing high top trainers, or zip up ankle boots. See a theme emerging there?

Posh red wellies, the ones that look for their prey. I've always wanted a pair, and they get used almost daily. In the summer, I wore some black ballet pumps and now have permatanned feet as the wellies were too warm. But the wellies are always my first choice whenever I'm playing on the plot. Bright red to match my hoody, so I am always visible; red is very salient against green! Ma always has laced trainers on or a pair of sturdy enclosed shoes; else I won't let her play as we don't want her falling over.

Bare feet or slippers when it is dry and I'm not using any heavy duty tools or size too big wellies for anything else with a thick pair of socks.
