I'd like to be able to say that Someone Else did the hoovering, the washing up, walked the dog, picked up her poop, made the dinner

A bit late but you're welcome In this my first few months of gardening, I've grown all sorts and learned a lot. Mostly that I don't like growing things in containers (except tomatoes, chillies and possibly garlic) and that -in my humble opinion- growing onions (especially when space is limited) is a monumental waste of time and space. Thanks to you and all the other lovely posters on here, I've had all sorts of questions answered without my even having to ask them. I've gone from having no interest in beetroot at all to absolutely loving it and I've eaten more fresh tomatoes in the last few weeks than I had in the previous two years. I've got kale chips coming out of my ears and yesterday I made vegetable lasagna which included courgettes, french beans and tomatoes from the garden... how cool is that? So thanks again

Next year, I'm gonna grow a smaller variety of veg but more of them. I have only one raised bed and I'm seriously considering filling the whole thing with beetroot, lol.

Yeah, you have to find out what does well for you. After that, you can specialise in the bestest things
