central heating on!!!!

Heating was on for 1/2 an hour last night just to take the edge of. Then I spent the rest of the evening in shorts trying to cool off!!!!!

Heating? In September? Nah! OK, I'm blue with cold in the evenings, but what it costs to put these archaic storage heaters on, it can wait until it's a fair bit colder yet. Still got the door open for the Dogs' benefit most evenings, too. I'll settle for more layers, and when I can't move, or I'm cold in bed, then I'll think about putting a radiator or two on.

I'm frantically house-hunting anyway, so hopefully I'll find something more suitable soon - fingers crossed.

I cant believe it is so cold already.

I've got my electric blanket & fingerless gloves on already, but not the CH, not until the house drops lower than 16c.
We're forecast to get back in the high teens next week, bring it on
