Haven't had any experience of it, i'm sure someone who knows a bit more will be along soon. In fact i've never heard about it so will have to have a look

It looks as if you set up a page and put any plant you want to swap on there and people in your area get in touch...at least I think that is how it works, maybe a bit like freecycle except you swap instead of give??

        Never heard of this before,
I always grow extra plants and it breaks my heart to throw prefectly healthy plants onto the compost heap.

Great idea, but not many members near me in Newcastle. Hopefully it catches on

            Not many members anywhere,
Seems to be a new venture, but an excellent idea,
Had to register in order to see exactly what it has to offer.
The options are to swap or sell plants, just plants for now, not seeds or bulbs etc.
Didn't see any mention of fees payable, seems to be a free service being offered.
Which in this day and age makes a nice change, or have I missed something?

Yes that is pretty much what I thought. I think the idea is as well to visit the garden when you swap and increase awareness of growing etc?

I've set up a page to have a look at it - only 1 member near me with anything on the site, but as you say, seems quite new - maybe they'll have an influx of new members thanks to us lot lol

The site has be going since June this year, and this is the first I had heard about it, I am sure it will get better as more people sign up.
