I saw that the other day and wondered how you'd manage to harvest your potatoes before the toms, I know you could have a furtle but that would make the plant unstable. Not that I'm thinking of paying £14-99 for the plant.

what is gardening, if you cant have a good furtle?,sounds like something you wouldn't want to let your mom catch you doing,this is the type of thing that makes the English language so lovely. i am off for a good furtle now, if the wifes not watching......

For someone new to gardening I guess it makes sense - two crops in one plants - but given that one is best grown in a greenhouse and the other is better outdoors, I don't see this as anything more than a value added marketing scheme.

I wonder if they come already grafted ,the way our parcels come thru the post, if they would be in one piece on delivery, i love the idea, just the practicalities and price puts me off, that is more than I spent on all the veg in two years for seeds, hopefully the prices will come down in time. didn't someone else offer the same thing about 10yrs ago?
